Bike lanes on the road, as well as side paths next to the road

Roads without dedicated bike infrastructure, but found to be fairly comfortable to bike on. Generally they have a speed limit of 25 mph or less with low traffic volumes.

This site pulls real time data from USGS Water Gauges stationed around the Triangle. Any flood gauges that are recording water levels that indicate there may be flooding will always display an icon on the map. You can also select show all water gauges to display all the water gauges that are being checked on the map. The water levels that indicate a flood are based on the USGS/NOAA site descriptions for the gauge. Please always use your best judgement, and never walk or ride through flowing flood waters!
